Penshoppe endorser Song Kang talks about his fashion sense

Korean actor Song Kang, Penshoppe endorser, talked about his fashion and trends.

This year, Song Kang starred in the Korean drama “Forecasting Love & Weather,” playing the role of Lee Si-woo, a weather forecasting genius who braves the storms of a seemingly complicated love story.

He is starring in the Penshoppe campaign for the newest In Color Collection, a line of classic and versatile fashion pieces that come in vibrant hues and accentuated with polychromatic details.

According to Song Kang, his present day fashion is casual.

“I like to wear comfortable clothes for personal time outside of my schedule, so a lot of the items in my closet are quite casual. The trending items that my attention these days include long trousers and cropped jackets,” he said, according to Penshoppe.

Song Kang said athletic apparel is the trend that is here to stay.

“There are a lot of people who work out these days as part of their self-care routine. Functionality is the most important element of athletic wear, and compared to the past, there are a lot of clothes with various designs that can be worn in daily life,” he said.

He added, “There may be changes in design and style, but since this is a trend that’s closely related to people’s lifestyles, I feel like the trend itself is here to stay.”

Song Kang chose jeans, shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts as items that will always be in style, saying these “will be in constant demand no matter how much time passes. Such basic items are clothes that we own as essentials over generations. They’re simple and go well with anything, which makes them versatile.”

When asked what casual everyday wear would look like 10 years from now, he replied, “It’s hard to since fashion trends change so quickly, but I don’t think it would be too different from what it is now.”

“They say fashion trends come and go. Just as items from 10 years ago become fashionable again with a retro feel, as would the items we’re wearing now become fashionable again in ten years,” he added.
