Four Revillas win, proclaimed in Cavite


CAVITE – Four Revillas won public positions in the province in the recent elections and were proclaimed by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Incumbent Bacoor City Lone District Rep. Strike Revilla and incumbent Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla will be exchanging positions in their next term.

Incumbent Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, on the other hand, will take on a new position as Cavite's 1st District representative.

Ram Revilla Bautista, the youngest son of Mercado-Revilla and Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., also won as 2nd District board member.

Jolo and Ram's older brother, Bryan Revilla, is the first nominee of Agimat party-list.

Based on partial, unofficial results from 98.23 percent of election returns as of May 11, 8:32 a.m., Agimat party-list garnered 583,037 or 1.62 percent of the total party-list votes, falling below the 2 percent required to get a seat in the House of Representatives.
