Adamson grabbed its first win with a 23-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-12 beating of reigning champion Ateneo in the UAAP Season 84 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City Tuesday night, May 10.

The Lady Falcons turned the tables after avenging its first set loss with a smooth run in the second and third frames before stepping on the gas in the fourth which propelled them to a 1-2 record while the Blue Eagles fell to a 0-3 hole.
Trisha Genesis led Adamson with 17 points built on 15 spikes while May Ann Nuique hammered down 12 attacks and two blocks for 15 points.
Lucille Almonte also had 12 markers on top of four service Aces for the Lady Falcons.
"Pagod na kami pero worth it naman lahat ng pagod," said Adamson head coach Lerma Giron. "Siyempre sobrang saya pakiramdam namin. Sabi ko nga kanina, noong isang araw pa we need to win this game kasi sobra na yung nasakripisyo ng mga players, lahat sa Adamson even coaching staff so we really want this game talaga."
The Lady Falcons led by as many as 10 points with an early 15-5 lead in the fourth set and pulled away for good.
Genesis capped Adamson's run with an off-the-block hit and never looked back at that point as the gap ballooned to 14, 19-5.
The lead was too much to overcome for the defending champions as the Eagles eventually lost steam and committed multiple attack errors.
Faith Nisperos paced the Eagles anew with 16 points off 11 hits and a service ace while Vannie Gandler chipped in 11 markers all coming from attacks.
