Fire hits Serendra in BGC Taguig


A fire hit a portion of the Serendra complex in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig before noon on May 5. 

The Serendra management issued a statement about the fire and said no one was injured in the incident.

“At 11:42 a.m., a minor fire incident happened at the 2nd Floor of Shops at Serendra. Serendra Building Administration immediately responded and assisted customers and mall employees for evacuation,” it said. 

It added, “At 12:34 p.m., the incident was declared under control and in close coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection.”

“No one was reported injured during the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Normal mall operations resumed after the area was cleared. Rest assured that the safety of our shoppers is our utmost concern. Thank you,” Serendra said.
