Grammy-nominated K-pop idol group BTS will be making their comeback in June with an anthology album that will focus on the members “past, present and future.”
Big Hit Music announced that BTS will be dropping the “Proof” anthology album on June 10 and pre-orders have started on May 5 and will run until June 9.
“After ceaselessly sprinting forward since 2013, BTS is celebrating their 9th anniversary this coming June. It is all thanks to ARMY who have sent us your unwavering love and support,” the agency said.
It added, “The BTS anthology album that embodies the history of BTS will be released as they begin a new chapter as an artist that has been active for nine years to look back on their past endeavors.”
Big Hit Music said the “Proof” album will consist of three CDs that will have “many different tracks - including three all-new tracks - that reflect the thoughts and ideas of the members on the past, present and future of BTS.”
“We hope that you look forward to BTS’ anthology album “Proof”, and relive the history that BTS and ARMY made together so far, and will continue to make in the future to come,” it said.
In 2021, BTS' "Butter" CD sold 2.25 million copies and took the No. 1 spot on Hanteo Chart's yearly album chart.
There will be two versions of the “Proof” album: Standard and Compact.
