MB Daily News Update: INC endorses Marcos, Duterte


Block voting Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) picked the UniTeam tandem of Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to become president and vice president, respectively, boosting their already solid chances heading into the May 9 national and local elections.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año set into motion the order of President Duterte to stop e-sabong operations by ordering the Philippine National Police (PNP) and local government units (LGUs) immediately implement the presidential directive.

Meanwhile, 15 foreign tourists tested positive for Covid-19 in Palawan.
