Some of the groups were initially supporting the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo and former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The members reaffirmed the manifesto of their support during the “Biggest Switch” event held at the Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon City.

“They are gaining silent solid base foothold which can possibly deliver large volume of votes contrary to what surveys portray, by having only a minor number of respondents,” the Alagang Isko Association Inc. said in a statement.

“These groups may have not gained the spotlight on the mainstream news, but are bound to play an exceptionally significant role in May 9, 2022 election in favor of Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso,” the group added.

“True numbers are on the ground,” it added.

Domagoso, meanwhile, said he is hoping that the estimated 10 million members whom they refer as the “silent majority” will make him win on May 9.

“Hindi ko alam (I don’t know). I’m hoping for the best, but I don’t know what will be the result. Ayokong pangunahan (I don’t want to get ahead) pero I’m happy na malaking grupo yan (that it is a big group).”
