Mr. and Ms. Posture Philippines - a unique pageant promoting the importance of chiropractic health in the Philippines - was successfully concluded at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila last April 20.
Named Mr. Posture Philippines was educator JP Guerrero of Bacoor, Cavite who was also voted the Darling of the Press while Ms. Posture Philippines was dental student Ma. Yzabelle Reonal of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. They received an array of prizes which included P100,000 cash prize each, insurance, groceries,free wardrobe package free chiropractic services worth P100,000 as well as a four-year scholarship package from Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics and University of Makati , among others.
The candidates coming from all over the country were judge based on their total package of physique, intelligence and personality.
Dr. Mike Tetrault, the founder and CEO of Mabuhay Chiropractic Clinics, said they came out with the pageant to promote proper posture and encourage the youth to become chiropractors as there's a limited number of said professionals in the country.
PR manager, Ms. Jedaver Pancho Opingo, who also hosted the event said the winners will embody what Mabuhay Health is all about - by motivating people to think, eat and move right. They will also be the company's Ambassadors to spread health awareness and encourage others to adopt alternative health care and a natural lifestyle.
The rest of the winners are the following: Mr. Posture - Guillbert Besin - Bacolod, Lanao Del Norte (1st runner-up), • Joeser Sinfuego - Tuguegarao City (2nd runner-up).
Ms. Posture - Apol Mora Viñas - Bicol Region (1st runner-up), Verily Aquino - Antipolo City (2nd runner-up).
