Brandon Rosser, the current 3x3 player projected to be one of the top picks, has officially submitted his name in the PBA Rookie Draft slated May 15 at Robinsons Place Manila.

His agent Charlie Dy confirmed that necessary documents were submitted Tuesday, April 26, making Rosser one of the first prominent names to put his hat in the proceedings.

Rosser was supposed to take part in last year’s draft but was deemed ineligible after failing to submit a clearance from the Bureau of Immigration and affirmation from the Department of Justice.

But those documents have since been removed from draft requirements among Fil-foreigners, who will only need to secure a Philippine passport to be eligible.

The younger brother of TNT’s Matt Ganuelas-Rosser first surfaced in the ASEAN Basketball League, playing two seasons for Alab Pilipinas from 2019 to 2020.

After missing out on the draft, Rosser joined the PBA 3x3 which he became one of the key reasons for Limitless’ successful title run in the first conference.

Rosser and Limitless are one of the favorites to take the second conference in the Grand Finals set Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

He will also take part in next month’s men’s 3x3 event of the Vietnam Southeast Asian Games with Limitless teammates Jorey Napoles, Marvin Hayes and Reymar Caduyac.

Most see him as an early first rounder, even possibly being named the top overall pick by Blackwater.

Blackwater coach Ariel Vanguardia said that Rosser is one of the names being considered by the Bossing.
