MB Daily News Update: SC says 'almost all provisions' of anti-terror law constitutional

The Supreme Court (SC) declared as final its December 7, 2021 decision on the constitutionality of almost all of the provisions of the Anti-Terror Act.

A Hong Kong judge ruled in favor of a Filipina domestic worker, who was allegedly a victim of abuse by her employer in the former British colony.

The OCTA Research Group said daily infections could hit 5,000 to 10,000 once the subvariants of Covid-19 reaches the country.

On the election front, the local absentee voting (LAV) for those who will not be able to cast their votes on May 9, 2022, starts Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Instructions on LAV have also been released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
