EXO’s D.O. diagnosed with Covid-19


D.O. (real name Doh Kyung-soo) of K-pop boy band EXO has tested positive for Covid-19, his agency said.

“EXO's D.O. was confirmed with Covid-19 today (April 25),” said SM Entertainment.

It added that D.O. is fully vaccinated and has no symptoms.

“D.O. has completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and is currently showing no symptoms. He has suspended all schedules and is self-isolating and receiving treatment at home in accordance with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities,” the agency said.

Last March 14, EXO member Kai tested positive for Covid-19 amid a surge in daily cases in South Korea.

South Korea has been battling cases caused by the highly contagious Omicron variant since February.

In the last seven days, South Korea’s daily tally has gone down. On April 25, South Korea recorded 34,370 new cases, down from 64,725 on April 24 and 75,449 on April 23. It tallied 118,478 new cases last April 19.

As of April 25, South Korea has 16.92 million confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Meanwhile, D.O. will star in the drama "True Sword Battle" that will air in the second half of the year.
