MB Daily News Update: 2nd booster shot rollout for immunocompromised starts April 25

The Department of Health (DOH) announced that the second Covid-19 booster shot rollout for immunocompromised individuals will start on Monday, April 25, 2022.

This, as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of Janssen vaccines as booster shots, and the World Health Organization (WHO) strongly recommended Pfizer’s Covid-19 pill for use to battle the coronavirus.

The World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) Global Summit, being held in the country, has acknowledged the role the Philippines has taken in reigniting travel in the Asia-Pacific region.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) assured that election data belonging to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) remained safe despite alleged breach on the system of its technology partner Smartmatic.
