BIÑAN CITY, Laguna--Governor Ramil Hernandez has finally made up his mind.

Hernandez came out on Thursday night, April 21 with his endorsement of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos in front of another massive crowd of supporters during the UniTeam grand rally at Biñan Football Field here.
The official's endorsement of Marcos came as somewhat of a surprise, given that he was conspicuously silent on it during UniTeam's previous campaign sortie in the province. Hernandez is the president of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan's (PDP-Laban) Laguna chapter.
The UniTeam is composed of Marcos and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Hernandez had earlier announced his backing of Duterte's vice presidential bid.
"Buong pamunuan ng PDP-Laban kasama po ng iba pang mga partido na nandito ay nagkakaisa para po sa iisang layunin; si Governor Hernandez po bilang pangulo ng PDP-Laban Laguna, ang akin pong presidente at vice president ay BBM-Sara (The entire leadership of PDP-Laban together with the other parties here are united under one purpose; this is Governor Hernandez as president of PDP-Laban Laguna, and my president and vice president is BBM-Sara)," Hernandez declared before introducing Marcos on stage in the rally.
"Akin po ang karangalan na ipakilala sa inyo ang presidente nating lahat, president Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. (It’s my honor to introduce to you our president, President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.)," he added.
The governors' endorsement served as another boost to Marcos's chances in the May 9 elections, which is just around the corner.
During the rally, Marcos and Duterte reiterated their usual messages of unity, hope, and patriotism.
After the event, PDP-Laban Secretary-General Melvin Matibag revealed plans for a series of joint rallies between the ruling party and the UniTeam alliance.
