The police arrested a man listed as the No. 9 most wanted person for rape in Muntinlupa, in Sta. Fe, Leyte on April 20.
Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the suspect as Jayson Daloso Fabillo, 32, construction worker, and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa.
Fabillo was arrested at about 7:30 a.m. in Barangay Milagrosa, Sta. Fe by joint elements of the Muntinlupa police, Sta. Fe police, and the National Capital Region (NCR) Regional Intelligence Unit.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest with no bail under a criminal case for rape issued by Presiding Judge Antonietta Pablo Medina of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 276.
Fabillo was brought to the Sta. Fe police station for disposition. The police are waiting for the issuance of a commitment order from the court of origin.
He is classified as Muntinlupa police’s top 9 most wanted person in the third quarter of 2021.
“Fabillo’s arrest by the Muntinlupa City police and Sta. Fe municipal police station should serve as a warning that wherever you hide, the police will do everything to arrest and hold you accountable under the law,” said Macaraeg.
