4 arrested for suspected shabu in Taguig


The police arrested four persons and confiscated P124,000 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in three operations in Taguig on April 21.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the Taguig police’s Sub-station 7 nabbed suspect Michael Gutierrez, 50, along Guevarra Street in Barangay Maharlika while they were conducting “Oplan Galugad.”

Gutierrez was allegedly found in possession of one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 8.5 grams worth P57,800.

Meanwhile, the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation along MLQ Street in Purok 4, Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig that resulted in the arrest of Niña Geslani, 45, vendor.

Seized from her were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 4.2 grams with a value of P28,560 and P200 buy-bust money.

In Purok 13 in Barangay South Daang Hari, the Taguig police’s Sub-station 8 were conducting “Oplan Galugad” when they saw suspects San Roque Loberian, 29, and Rodel Campo, 27, in possession of two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 5.6 grams worth P38,080 that resulted in their arrest.

All the suspects are detained at the Taguig police’s custodial facility while the illegal drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
