Published Apr 20, 2022 11:56 am

Titas and moms can relate!

Yesterday, while out campaigning and waiting for her turn to go on stage, Vice President Leni Robredo thought of squeezing in a video post to share what's in her bag. "Pero wala po itong preparation," she starts.

"Pasensya na, ang aking bag ay napakalaki," referring to her big black canvas tote bag with two-tone pink handles and personalized scripted "Leni" painted over it. She added that it was given to her by former congressman from Masbate.

So what's in her bag? She starts off with two matte plastic pouches containing her chargers—one for her mobile phones and one for her iPad. Then, she proceeds to show a long brown envelope, "walang kamatayan na briefers na kailangan basahin," she adds.

The next ones were an almost-finished bottle of mineral water, to which she added she finished two alread. Then, her iPad, and a pink-gumamela-printed bag organizer filled with Berocca, Lysol spray, another spray that her volunteers gave her, two kinds of throat sprays, hand lotion, Heliocare (secret oral sunblock that her niece gave bottles of to her) and she gave some to her staff because if she feels hot, what more her staff.

She moved on to her new airpods which is an advanced birthday gift from her running VP mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan and his wife Sharon Cuneta. She continues to show what's in her bag—another hand sanitizer (Thieves), a green Pilot pen which she has been using since 2016, nailcutter, medicine kit, candies, and mints.

She continues on to showing different essential oils—for migraines, deep release by Pili. "Obvious ba, may difficulty ako matulog? Lalo na sa campaign, mataas ang adrenaline," she explains. She also has Manuka Honey oral spray which Senator Kiko Pangilnan gifted her. "Kasi nawawala ang boses ko."

On the religious side, she showed her novena and rosaries. One of which is very priceless, "galing pa sa Carmelite sisters ng Zamboanga, Sister Agnes who we lost to Covid-19 last year, na dala ko everywhere I go. Kapag dala ko, palagi kong kasama si Agnes." She also showed a wooden cross that she brings with her everywhere, too! She divulges another secret, "During debates, dala ko sya, nakaipit sa panyo. Marami akong wooden cross, ito na pinaka maliit."

She then shows two sets of keys, and proceeds to check the exterior pockets of her tote bag. But before she does, her daughter Jill greets her during her live video post. She mentioned that all her children are out helping her—Jill is in Quezon City, Aika is in Isabela, while Tricia is doing house-to-house.

Outside her tote bag, she has wet wipes, wallet, perfume, handkerchief, and candies. She tried looking for her comb, but found her toothbrush and toothpaste instead. "Lagi nasa bag ko, kasi kung saan-saan kami napupunta." Then she found her brush.

She ends the video by saying that people found her funny in her last Facebook live. Many people mentioned that she talked fondly of her husband as well. So what do you think? It's such a Tita/Mommy bag, right?
