MB Daily News Update: Agri damage due to ‘Agaton’ reaches P1.4B


The Department of Agriculture (DA) reported that damage to crops and livestock caused by tropical storm Agaton has reached P1.4 billion, most of which were recorded in Eastern and Western Visayas.

There was also no marked increase in Covid-19 cases during the Holy Week, according to the Department of Health (DOH), even as it warned the public to continue observing basic health protocols, like wearing face masks and observing physical distancing, to veer the country away from any possible resurgence of the coronavirus.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) gave the assurance that hundreds of Filipinos being affected by the strict lockdowns in Shanghai, China, will be provided for.
