K-pop group Viviz to release remix version of ‘Bop Bop!’ before entering US market

New K-pop girl group Viviz, composed of Umji, Eunha and SinB, have collaborated with a Belgian DJ for the remix of their song as prelude to entering the US market.

BPM Entertainment said Viviz will be releasing a remix version of “Bop Bop!,” the title track of their debut album “Beam of Prism,” which was released in February.

The remix version will be a collaboration with Belgian DJ Yves V and will be released on April 28.

Yves V is a DJ ranked 34th in DJ Mag’s DJ TOP100. He has produced alongside famous artists including David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, and has recently released “Déjà vu” with INNA and Janieck.

The new version of “Bop Bop!” will be part of Viviz’s pre-debut plans to foray into the US market.

“Currently, VIVIZ is planning to undergo a ‘pre-debut’ for a successful US debut ahead of signing a contract with a well-known American label, and is waiting for a US debut that is unprecedented,” an insider at BPM said.

The insider added that Viviz are gearing up in their preparations for their US market debut, signing a contract with The Unit Label and proceeding with contract procedures with an agent, promoter and publicist.

The Unit Label was established in 2022 after being spun off from the group company in the same year as a label that looks after various independent Asian artists and has joined hands with agencies including Orchard Enterprise of Sony Music Group and UTA.

The three singers debuted in Viviz after being part of GFriend.
