QC holds thanksgiving dinner for volunteer doctors of ‘BantAI COVID program’

The Quezon City government held on Monday, April 18, a thanksgiving dinner for volunteer doctors who helped monitor Covid-19 patients through the BantAI COVID program.

BantAI COVID is an Artificial Intelligence-powered system that is used for contact tracing, monitoring, and telemedicine referral to hospitals and individuals under quarantine.

The BantAI COVID program is developed by Vireo Loadworks.

Around 150 volunteer doctors from different private and public hospitals around the country have joined the program.

Present in the thanksgiving dinner were Quezon City Health Department (QCHD) officer-in-charge Dr. Esperanza Arias, City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) chief Dr. Rolando Cruz, Dr. Loysa Orense of Vireo, special adviser to the National Task Force Against Covid Dr. Ted Herbosa, and Lung Center of the Philippines director Dr. Vincent Manalang,
