In a chance interview right after the UniTeam grand rally at the Citi de Mare open grounds along SRP Coastal Road here, Marcos was asked what "game plan tweaks" Marcos would implement with just 21 days to go before the polls.

"Wala naman, hindi naman nagbabago yan (We have no changes to the game plan, it remains the same)," said the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer.

However, Marcos added: "We continue to strengthen our organization. Tinuturuan na natin ang mga tao natin para sa vote protection, nandoon na tayo (We are now teaching our people regarding vote protection, we're at that stage)."

This echoed his remarks last week wherein he underscored the need for vigilance as far as the counting of votes is concerned.

Before that, Marcos had been meeting with incumbent governors at his campaign headquarters in Mandaluyong City precisely to tackle ways on how to protect his votes.

In the same interview morning, the Palace hopeful from Ilocos Norte said that he doesn't want to "take for granted" the result of the latest OCTA Research survey which showed him and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte still way ahead of the pack this close to the polls.

"It's a good result but we cannot take that for granted. Marami pong kailangan (We need to do a lot of things)...to keep working," Marcos said.
