TESDA among most trusted gov’t agencies in PUBLiCUS Asia survey
The first quarter survey of PUBLiCUS Asia showed that the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is still one of the most trusted government agencies.

Based on the 2022 first quarter Pahayag survey, TESDA gained 49.9 percent trust rating, higher than its 46.1 percent trust rating during the Pahayag Fourth Quarter Survey released in December 2021.
TESDA also ranked second in trust rating behind the Armed Forces of the Philippines with 53.4 percent trust rating. TESDA was followed by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) with 45.9 percent trust rating.
Meanwhile, TESDA placed second in approval rating with 65.8 percent, also behind AFP with 67.4 percent.
The survey was conducted nationwide covering 1,500 respondents during the period of March 30 to April 6, 2022.
In 2021, TESDA has been consistently in the top of the quarterly surveys conducted by PUBLiCUS Asia.
TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña attributed the agency’s high trust and approval rating to its programs and continuous provision of skills training and livelihood programs to Filipinos especially to the displaced workers, repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), indigenous people (IPs), former rebels, among others.
“It is an honor to be, once again, among the most trusted government agencies. It gives us more reason to continue serving and reaching out to our kababayans, as embodied in our guiding principle, ‘TESDA Abot Lahat,'" Lapeña said in a statement Sunday, April 17.
“I thank again all our kababayans for their continued trust and support to TESDA. We are continuously improving our services to better serve the Filipinos. TESDA is here to provide skills training and retooling which are vital to post pandemic economic recovery,” the TESDA Chief added.
