“Kung meron mang supreme sacrifice, ‘yung number two should initiate the supreme sacrifice. Let Leni withdraw. Withdraw, Leni,” he said during a joint press conference attended by Sen. Panfilo Lacson and former defense secretary Norberto Gonzalez held at the Manila Peninsula.

“If you love your country. Sila ang laban lang naman nila, laban lang kay Marcos. Sinabi naman nila yan (Their fight is just against Marcos. They said it already),” he said.

Unlike him and his rival candidates, Domagoso said they were running to serve the country.

“Si Sen. Ping (Lacson) tumakbo kasi may inooffer siyang services — yung galing niya at husay niya (he ran to offer services — his skills. Ganon din si (Same with) Sec. Norberto (Gonzales), si Manny Pacquiao. May inaalay kaming trabaho, solusyon (We are offering solutions),” he said.

“VP Leni said so many times, “No to Marcos. Never again.” It’s always about the Marcos,” he added.

Domagoso, however, said the fight of Robredo was unsuccessful because it was personal.

“I’m calling for Leni to withdraw. Come and join us. Kasi whatever she’s doing against Marcos is not effective,” he said.

Domagoso also said they were “fooled" by Robredo for saying she would not be running for presidency.

The Manila Mayor also bared that the camp of Robredo was making efforts in stripping him of his support groups.

“Sobra naman ang pambabastos sa amin.”
