The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported an increase in the number of fatalities due to tropical storm Agaton, reaching 167 to go with 110 missing and eight injured persons.
President Duterte has reached out to the victims, and gave them the assurance that their houses will be rebuilt even after his term ends in June.
Another set of fuel price increase is set to further burden motorists anew next week.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the country will have good weather, for at least, the next three days – good news for those who would want to exploit every minute of what has been the longest vacation afforded to everyone in more than two years.
