In BBM Vlog no.201, Marcos pinpointed the local industry that he thinks could "generate the most jobs in the soonest time", especially amid the recent positive developments under the Covid-19 pandemic.

And that's domestic tourism, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer said.

According to him, reviving domestic tourism "can stimulate the most economic activity at the least cost". He added that It's also vital to come up with a response that would be felt immediately by the people.

"Sa aming pag-iikot ni Mayor Inday sa ating bansa, ito ay isa sa nakikita naming agarang lunas para sa ating mabilis na pagbangon (In my campaign with Mayor Inday around out country, this is one of the quick remedies that we see toward our immediate recovery)," Marcos said of domestic tourism.

"Napakaganda po ng ating bansa. Napakagaling ng ating kababayan sa pag-aasikaso sa ating mga turista. Napakahusay natin sa larangan ng turismo (Our country is very beautiful. Our countrymen are so good in catering to tourists. We are so good in the field of tourism)," he said as if to remind Filipinos, who had to learn to live without tourism for much of the past two years because of Covid-19.

In the video, the Ilocano bet explained how tourism can revitalize employment across multiple sectors, from the hospitality to food and beverage and the talent (performers) industries.

"At ngayon na alert level 1 na sa maraming lugar ay samantalahin na natin ito. Napakalawak po ng multiplier effect ng mga nalilikhang downstream jobs ng domestic tourism (Now is the time to take advantage of it since most places in the country are now under alert level 1. The multiplier effect of the downstream jobs created by domestic tourism is enormous)," the UniTeam candidate noted.

"Ito po ang ating unang daan tungo sa pagbangon (This is out first path toward recovery)," Marcos stressed.
