KBL Baguio-Benguet chapter announces shift to Mayor Isko

A Baguio-Benguet - based group supporting former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s presidential bid declared its big shift to Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Wednesday, April 13.

Members of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) based in Baguio-Benguet hold a press conference and declared they are abandoning Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and switching their support in favor of Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer Isko Moreno.

Members of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) believe that Domagoso “has the most comprehensive and clear vision and program for the nation and Filipinos in the next six years.”

“Me and my officers decided to switch to Isko. One of the many reasons why, si Isko mabilis kumilos, mabilis umaksyon at may resibo ng mga nagawa na talagang nagawa at hindi pangako pa lang, said Bernard P. Ellamil, provincial chairman of KBL in Baguio-Benguet.

The KBL group in Baguio and Benguet said the country needs a leader who has a clear vision , especially in this time of pandemic.

Ellamil cited the accomplishments of Domagoso in the City of Manila, including his housing projects, construction of several hospitals and public school buildings, rehabilitation and cleanup of streets, as well as the reviving of Manila Zoo, rehabilitation and cleanup of the streets of Manila.

The group leader said that Marcos Jr.’s issue on the P203-billion Marcos estate tax liability was among the reasons why they decided to shift their support.

“And being a candidate of the Philippines’ highest position, being a presidential candidate, hindi po maganda na meron tayong bagahe like one of the biggest issues ngayon na P203 billion unpaid estate tax,” he said.

“Dito po kay Isko sigurado tayo na ang Pilipinas ay may pagbabago at kitang kita na po natin sa mabilis na panahon, napaganda ni Isko ang Manila na pangarap naman din niya sa buong Pilipinas (Here with Isko, we are sure that the Philippines is changing and we can see that in a short period, Isko has made Manila more beautiful, which is also his dream for the whole Philippines).”
