The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) emerged as one of the top-performing schools in the 2020-2021 Bar examinations, posting a 100 percent passing rate, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) announced on Tuesday, April 12.
PLM President Emmanuel Leyco congratulated the graduates for making a mark in the recent Bar examinations.

"Congratulations to the new lawyers! May you join the ranks of lawyers who will promote social justice embodying the principles of Karunungan, Kaunlaran, at Kadakilaan in the practice of your profession,” Leyco said.
PLM is among the seven schools under Group 3, or law schools with 11 to 50 first-time Bar takers, that made such an achievement.
In a phone call to Leyco, Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso also extended his congratulations to the Bar passers.
According to MPIO, the 31 new PLM lawyers were part of the 8,241 out of 11,402 test takers who are now full-fledged lawyers, a record number of passers in history following the consolidated bar examinations for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"They are also the first passers under the fully digital and regionalized battery of examinations which took place on February 4 and 6 following multiple postponements," MPIO added.
