IM Pilipinas allegiance to Robredo, Pangilinan, a sign that there's no stopping 'pink wave' ahead of May polls—1Sambayan
Opposition coalition 1Sambayan said the declaration of support of Ikaw Muna (IM) Pilipinas to Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan is a "clear sign that the whole country is now being overwhelmed by the pink wave."

In a statement on Tuesday, April 12, 1Sambayan, which is backing the tandem of Robredo and Pangilinan, welcomed the endorsement made by the group, which used to support the candidacy of presidential candidate Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
"This unequivocal statement of support is a clear sign that the whole country is now being overwhelmed by the Pink Wave and there is no stopping it," 1Sambayan said.
The coalition expressed that it is overjoyed with the development saying, "Tunay ngang makatotohanan ang sinabi ni VP Leni noong simula pa lamang ng kampanya: huwag matakot tumindig dahil siguradong may titindig sa tabi natin kung tunay at makabuluhan ang ating ipinaglalaban (What VP Leni said at the start of the campaign was real: don't be afraid to stand up because some will definitely stand by us if we are fighting for something real and relevant)."
IM Pilipinas, which claims to have thousands of active volunteers, is led by former Metro Manila Development Authority head Tim Orbos.
"nd we expect more to join us in the coming days leading up to the May 9 elections. If the recent survey results and massive attendance to her rallies were any indication, then our PAMBATO VP Leni is poised for victory," 1Sambayan said.
The coalition, however, stressed that this is "not the time to be complacent" and encouraged volunteers and supporters to continue doing efforts in social media strategy, house-to-house campaigning, and in the conversion of votes.
It also reiterated its call for unity among candidates.
"Patuloy tayong nananawagan ng pagkakaisa sa ating mga kandidato. Tumindig tayo para sa isang bansa, isang bayan (We continue to call for unity ti our candidates. Let's stand together for one country, one nation). It was and still is 1SAMBAYAN’s vision for a united stand, and this latest statement of support for VP Leni and Sen. Kiko is proof of our inclusive growth," the coalition said.
