14 Bar passers with excellent performance

The Supreme Court (SC) named on Tuesday, April 12, the 14 bar passers with excellent performance in the 2020-2021 online and regionalized examinations held last Feb. 4 and 6.

The excellent performers got ratings of over 90 percent.

In alphabetical order, they were identified by the SC as Julia Alexandra D. Chu, University of the Philippines (UP); Camille Angela S. Cruz, UP; James Louie C. Cuevas, Ateneo de Manila University (AdeMU); Chelsea Eichel R. Dauz, San Beda University; Stephanie Mae B. Domingo, University of Cordilleras; Francis Roel L. Dulay, AdeMU; Danica Mae N. Godornes, UP;

Fernando Felix L. Imperial, Arellano University; Geremae M. Mata, University of San Carlos (USC); Jani C. Omamalin, USC; John Stephen B. Pangilinan, AdeMU; Mervynn Joshua A. Reyes, Far Eastern University; Kristel Shayne M. Sigua, UP; and Sandra Jane N. Soon, University of Cebu.

A total of 8,241 out of 11,402 examinees who took the first online and regionalized bar examinations last Feb. 4 and 6 passed the tests, the Supreme Court (SC) announced on Tuesday, April 12.

The physical oath-taking of the new lawyers will be held on May 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
