The Women's Business Council, or WomenBizPH, is offering assistance to women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the Women Strong Network project. The project aims to assist up to 120 women-owned SMEs by providing them with capacity-building and networking opportunities.

Leaders of WomenBizPH met with the participating SME owners on April 6, 2022.  It was their first meeting which was opened with a message from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona.

As part of the project, WomenBizPH is partnering with the Filipino Online Professional Service Cooperative (FOPSCo) to provide members of the Women Strong Network with an online course in digital marketing. The two-day course on April 27 and 29 will tackle product development, brand marketing, and social media content creation.

WomenBizPH is also partnering with the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) for a two-day course in finance management, which will be held on May 5 and 6. Another partner group, Indian Women in Enterprise, will provide training in creating an e-commerce store through Lazada, Shopee, and Prosperna, a Philippine-based startup company.

Women Strong Network is financed through a grant awarded by the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). WomenBizPH was established in 1997 and is recognized by DTI as the leading voice of Filipino women in commerce. For inquiries,
