A learning module that appears to put Vice President Leni Robredo in a negative light only shows the inefficiency of the Department of Education (DepEd), Robredo said.

The Vice President said Friday, April 8, that she is not sure if the now viral and under fire learning material is true but if it was indeed released under DepEd's watch, then it is their responsibility.

"Nakita ko na, nakita ko na siya pero hintayin ko yung DepEd to comment. Pero responsibility nila ito e (I've seen it but I'm waiting for the DepEd to comment. But thid is their responsibility)," Robredo said on the sidelines of her speaking engagement at an education forum in Pangasinan.

The presidential aspirant said the DepEd should not allow such incident to happen, regardless of who will be affected, because it only showed the inefficiency of the department.

Learning materials that will only poison the minds of the people should not be released irresponsibly, Robredo stressed.

"Kasi pagpapakita lang– kung totoo, kung totoo na naka-lusot ito sa Grade 11 na mga modules, gustong sabihin na napakainefficient ng DepEd (Because it only shows—if it's true, if it's true that this was released to Grade 11—how inefficient DepEd is)," Robredo said.

"Ito lang yung pinaka-ebidensya na napaka inefficient nila, na pinapayagan nila na yung mga module na ganito nakakalusot sa kanila (This is an evidence that their very inefficient for allowing such module to be released)," Robredo added.

In the now viral learning material for Grade 11 titled Introduction to Philosophy o the Human Person, Robredo's name was used in the choices under a question instructing students to identify headlines with no errors in spelling, grammar, and content.

The choices read: a. Robredo Chides Government for Unclear Communication on New Quarantine Rules; b. Robredo Blames the Government as They Don’t Have Clear Rules in Quarantine; c. Robredo Charge the Government as Culprit for Confusion in Quarantine; and d. Robredo blames those in Executive Branch for Communication’s Unclear.

Another question followed asking learners to choose an answer among a set of choices using Robredo's name.

It read: a. “Drug war a massive failure”–Robredo; b. Robredo lies to the world, shames the nation and herself in UN message; c. The real albatross on Leni Robredo’s neck; and d. Let Leni plan on her own drug war.
