MB Daily News Update: Overseas voting starts April 10

Over 1.6 million Filipinos overseas will have one month to cast their ballots for the May 2022 polls starting April 10.

This, even as a survey official said that the final month of campaign will be crucial in the presidential derby as the leading contenders, primarily frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and second-running Vice President Leni Robredo, exhaust all efforts to win.

In other developments, the Department of Health (DOH) is seeking the approval of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to administer booster shots to those full vaccinated from 12 to 17 years old.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also clarified that the ban on deployment of Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia continues as false reports circulated on Thursday that this was already lifted.
