It's going to be a busy year ahead for showbiz heartthrob Teejay Marquez as he buckles down on a string of TV and movie projects.

This early, fans are already raving about his billing as one of the lead stars of GMA-7's Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss, the much-awaited sequel of the top-rating Chinoyserye Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune, which set a new trend in local primetime TV.

"It's such a great honor to be part of this iconic story," exclaims the Global Prince. "I've always been a fan of the long-running movie series, and it's actually a dream come true to know that I'm working with such a topnotch production team."

"Ibang klase yung Family Fortune! The story, the cinematic treatment, and of course, the amazing cast! Well, it's a new team for the sequel, so I'm really praying that I get to live up to the expectations of the producers."

To date, Teejay has been getting positive feedback for his kontrabida role where he portrays Raven Lim, the charming boss competing with his brother (Ken Chan) for his stake in the family business.
Thanks to the show’s good ratings, Teejay also excitedly added that the teleserye has been extended until June.

Starting Holy Week, the winsome actor will also start shooting for another movie produced by A&Q Films, the same producers of the MMFF 2021 official entry, Nelia.

The horror flick, dubbed Anatomiya, features Teejay as one of the lead stars, along with beauty queen Emmanuelle Vera and Yanna Fuentes.

Also scheduled for release by the end of February is After All, the drama movie topbilled by Beauty Gonzalez and Kelvin Miranda, whose onscreen chemistry in Stories From The Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette earned positive reviews and kilig raves from critics and viewers alike.

Teejay stars alongside fellow ALV Talent Circuit family members, including Devon Seron, Juan Carlos Galano, and Miss World Philippines queens Katrina Llegado, Dindi Pajares and Riana Pangindian, under the direction of Direk Adolf Alix, Jr.

Aside from his showbiz commitments, the baby-faced actor who became a viral sensation in Indonesia last 2015 is also gearing up for his first business venture.

For the longest time, Teejay's fans have long been wondering about his secret for his flawless skin. Wonder no more as he gets ready to share his "fountain of youth" which should hit the market by the second quarter of the year.

"The pandemic has been both a curse and a blessing," he muses. "Despite the downtime, I feel grateful to have been blessed with a lot of work opportunities, as well as a lot of time to hatch some promising business ventures."

"As my way of giving back to my fans, I think I owe them my secret to looking young. Of course, there are no shortcuts to a healthy lifestyle, exercise and diet, but I'm sure that what I have to offer will be something that will be everyone's skincare habit, so watch out for that," he beams excitedly.
