Police confiscated some P396,000 worth of shabu and a gun from three drug suspects in an entrapment operation in Pulilan, Bulacan on Wednesday, April 6.
Col. Rommel J. Ochave, acting Bulacan police director, said the alleged drug peddlers -- Luthgard Francia Abesamis, 39; Ferdie Gogu Sultan, 47; and Erwin Tayao Joson, 40 -- were arrested during the buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Drug Enforcement Unit at Sitio Dumayat Barangay Paltao in Pulilan.
Seized from the suspects were 58.23 grams of shabu worth P395,964; P2,000 marked money, and a .38-caliber revolver with three live bullets.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), RA 10591 (The Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), and the election gun ban, police said.
