With the government starting to ease Covid-19 restrictions, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) expects the Philippines to gain the needed traction to propel economic recovery with rising domestic investment and consumption.

This, as Forbes Magazine came out with the list of the richest Filipinos with real estate and retail tycoon Manny Villar topping the roster with a net worth of $8.3 billion. He also ranked 263rd in the world. Elon Musk was the world’s richest with a net worth of $219 billion.

Meanwhile, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte continued to pace the presidential and vice presidential race, respectively, in the latest pre-election survey released on April 6, 2022.

Pulse Asia also released its survey for senatorial aspirants with television host Raffy Tulfo holding on to the top post, with former senators Loren Legarda, Alan Peter Cayetano, and Francis “Chiz” Escudero sharing the second to fourth spots.
