CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, Tuguegarao City -- Cagayan Police Provincial Office spearheaded a community outreach program on Tuesday in a depressed area in San Miguel, Baggao, Cagayan in its effort to defeat insurgency and terrorism in the province.
With the help of different partner-agencies of Cagayan PPO, the police personnel gave away assorted grocery items, medical supplies and multivitamins to the beneficiaries in the far-flung municipality.
A feeding program initiated by the My Brother’s Keeper Life Coaches (MBK-LC), PRO2 Officers Ladies Club (OLC) and Cagayan PPO Ladies Link relative to the PPO’s Project “Pa-MANNA sa Bata” was also held.
Numerous youngsters in the place were also gifted with slippers under the “Pa-tsinelas ni PD”, the signature initiative of Police Colonel Renell R Sabaldica, Provincial Director, Cagayan Police Provincial Office.
“We are doing a series of community engagements to reach out people most especially the young ones who are vulnerable in the deceptive recruitment of left-leaning organizations,” PD Sabaldica emphasized during the said event.
Colonel Sabaldica also recognized the unwavering support of Police Brigadier General Steve B Ludan, PRO2 Regional Director as well as the Cagayano Cops and stakeholders who constantly work together for the success of the programs and advocacy of Cagayan PPO.
