In a Facebook post, the PUP Sentral na Konseho ng Mag-aaral (PUP SKM) announced that it has passed Resolution No. 005 to endorse the bid of Robredo and Pangilinan.

"The PUP SKM believes that Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, along with the endorsed candidates, are currently the best option to prevent a possible resurgence of a Marcos and a Duterte, who have been historically proven by established facts as murderous, corrupt, and self-serving, among others," the council said.

"Equally important, the pro-people platforms of the Leni-Kiko tandem, together with the selected senatorial candidates, are congruent to the goals of the Filipino people," it added.

The student council likewise backed the candidacies of senatorial bets Atty. Chel Diokno, Senator Risa Hontiveros, Atty. Neri Colmenares, Senator Leila de Lima, Atty. Luke Espiritu, Teddy Baguilat, Elmer Labog, Atty. Sonny Matula, Alex Lacson, and Carmen Reyes Zubiaga.

PUP SKM also endorsed Kabataan partylist.

The student leaders, however, stressed that the endorsement "may be withdrawn anytime should the said candidates go against the interest not just of the council, but of the entire Filipino masses."
