“Good news. Basically in our city, as far as the Covid-19 cases are concerned, we are now zero. We have two active in Barangay Alabang but these are seafarers. This means, there is no community transmission,” the mayor said.

He added, “No one is getting infected among residents, local transmission. We should continue to be careful. There are countries where cases continue to increase.”

As of April 3, Muntinlupa has three active cases – two in Barangay Alabang and one in Barangay Putatan.

Seven barangays are now Covid-19 free. These are Tunasan, Poblacion, Bayanan, Ayala Alabang, Cupang, Buli, and Sucat.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, Muntinlupa has recorded 39,907 confirmed cases, 39,290 recoveries, and 614 deaths.

The Muntinlupa City government will release its latest data on April 4.
