BTS’ Jungkook recovers from Covid-19, to attend Grammys; J-Hope arrives in Vegas


All the seven members of K-pop superstars BTS will attend the 64th Grammy Awards, which will be held on April 3 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

This after Jungkook had fully recovered from Covid-19 after he tested positive in Las Vegas on March 28 and the Grammy Awards organizer cleared him to attend the show.

“We would like to inform you that BTS member Jungkook has made a full recovery from Covid-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of Saturday, April 2 (PT),” Big Hit Music announced on April 3.

It said, “Jungkook has been under self-quarantine and administering self-treatment since last Sunday, March 27 (PT), and in accordance with the guidelines of health authorities in the United States, Jungkook can resume his daily activities from today . He experienced a slight sore throat during the quarantine but he has made a recovery from it.

The agency said Jungkook underwent a rapid antigen test, which turned out to be negative, paving the way for him to attend the Grammy Awards.

“Upon conclusion of the quarantine, Jungkook took a rapid antigen test in the United States to join the schedule for the Grammy Awards. The result came back negative, and the awards organizer has approved of his Grammy Awards participation,” Big Hit Music said.

Meanwhile, J-Hope has arrived in Las Vegas to join BTS for the Grammy Awards.

J-Hope arrived in style in Las Vegas aboard a jet. He posted photos and videos on Instagram of his arrival.

He left South Korea on April 2 after recovering from Covid-19 on March 30, the seventh day since testing positive on March 24.

“We would like to inform you that BTS member J-Hope has made a full recovery from Covid-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of today, March 30,” said Big Hit Music.

It added, “J-Hope has been administering self-treatment at home since last Wednesday, the 23rd and as his quarantine has concluded, J-Hope can resume his activities starting from today. He experienced mild symptoms of a sore throat during his quarantine, but he is recovering fast.”

“J-Hope is scheduled for departure to participate in the Grammy Awards activities and he will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines for air travel during his departure. It has been confirmed that there is no issue regarding his participation in the Grammy Awards according to the local quarantine guidelines,” the agency said.
