Auro Chocolate opens café in Bahrain

A luxurious tropical oasis filled with the best chocolate creations the Philippines has to offer

After launching its grab-and-go concept store in MoA Square next to Ikea Philippines, award-winning Filipino chocolate brand Auro Chocolate expands its dining service beyond the country with its new café in Bahrain.

“We are very excited to share with everyone that our first-ever Auro Chocolate Café in the Middle East is now officially open in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” the brand announced on social media. “Allow us to take you on a Tree-to-Bar journey through our signature drinks and decadent desserts freshly baked and generously stuffed with our award-winning chocolate!”

Much like its Philippine-based store, the new Bahrain dining sports a warm tropic vibe with its wooden light fixtures, plush seatings, and an elegant flora wall design perfect for taking pictures for Instagram. On the shelves are some of the brand’s award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate, inviting everyone to indulge.

Among the items being served in the cafe are its signature drinks such as the Spanish iced latte made with 100 percent Arabica coffee beans and its iced dark chocolate mocha crafted with the brand’s 64 percent dark chocolate, and, of course, some baked goodies. What diners shouldn’t miss trying are its truly decadent White Chocolate Orange Blossom Madeleines and Vegan Peanut Butter Bars. In addition to Auro’s signature menu, guests can also experience Auro Chocolate Cafe Bahrain’s exclusive offerings like their Hot Cocoa S’mores and Mont Blanc with a twist. Each Hot Cocoa S’more is topped with a generous dollop of scored marshmallow fluff and melted chocolate ganache. On the other hand, the Mont Blanc features layers of roasted banana and vegan dulce de leche.

“Auro Chocolate worked closely with their partners Ahmed Masood and Mariam Masood in Bahrain to tailor the Auro Chocolate Café experience to suit the Middle Eastern market while maintaining the essence of the brand, which sustainably sources cacao beans directly from their partner farmers to craft only the best single-origin cacao and chocolate products,” the brand said in a statement.

Auro Chocolate Cafe Bahrain opened last March 31 and is located in Amwaj Cineplex, Amwaj Islands. Visit @aurochocolate.bh to know more about it.
