Carlo and Albie: it's not easy to move on

Carlo Aquino and Albie  Casiño say they are unattached at the moment, which make them two of the most eligible bachelors in Tinseltown. Both of them can be seen in the ABS-CBN romantic comedy  "How To Move On in 30 days" which is showing on YouTube on April 4. But the two actors say it definitely takes more than 30 days to recover from a failed relationship.

"For me, it's impossible to move on in 30 days," Albie said and added that his last relationship was in 2019 or three years ago. It was with beauty queen Michelle Arceo who is currently representing the Philippines in the Miss Environment International 2022 pageant  in India.

"Hindi ko alam kung totally naka-move on na ako kasi hindi pa ako nagka girlfriend since 2019," Albie noted. He obviously still holds a candle for his Fil-Am ex who is now in  a relationship with a member of the famous Tuason clan. The actor added that if he falls in love with a new girl, he knows it would be serious if he introduces her to his mom.

The multi-awarded Carlo, on the other hand, admitted that he will always have a soft spot for his former partner Trina Candaza. " I will always love her, if only because she is the mother of my daughter."
Even though a third party was rumored to be the cause of their break-up, Carlo said he is not dating right now as he is so busy with work and focusing on his daughter, who is barely two years old.

According to Carlo, "moving on is a process" and there is no specific period for coping with the pain as each person is different. "It takes time. Ang feelings mawawala rin eventually at minsan di mo alam, naka move on ka na pala."

He advises spending time with friends or communing with nature to distract oneself from the pain of a break-up.

Albie on the other hand, said his outlet is working out in the gym. The actor, who figured in a controversy with his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann back in 2012, said one must always look at the positive side of relationships even though it ended badly.

"Ëveryone that I interacted with added to my experience as a person, and I am who I am now because of them,"  he pointed out.

Albie plays the boyfriend of Maris Rascal in "How To Move On in 30 Days" who eventually dumps her. To spite him, Maris hires a fictitious boyfriend played by Carlo. The series has been hailed by reviewers as the "romantic comedy to watch this season." (Annalyn S. Jusay)
