No Bongbong endorsement talk yet between Sara, Digong?

Have they already talked about Bongbong Marcos or not?

That question remains between President Duterte and his daughter, vice presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. And the answer seems to be in the negative, based on the latter's answers and actuations Wednesday, March 30.

The elder Dutertez's 77th birthday came and went on Monday, March 28, with no apparent fanfare between father and daughter.

"No,'" Mayor Duterte bluntly answered when asked if she celebrated her father's special day with him.

Last Month, the lady mayor admitted that she would still prefer the President to endorse the UniTeam, which is composed of herself and former Senator Marcos.

"Yes of course yan ang gusto naming lahat no, na makita yung suporta ni Pangulong Duterte para sa UniTeam (that’s what we all want to see, for President Duterte to support the UniTeam)," she said back then.

The Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) chairperson had said that upcoming special occasions could be a possible time for her to meet with her old man.

Asked Wednesday about the President's possible endorsement of Marcos roughly a month before the May 2020 polls, the younger Duterte said:

“Hindi ko alam ano ang napag usapan nila (I don't know what they spoke about), I was not there during their meeting," she said of Marcos and President Duterte.

The lady official bared last week that the two met ahead of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) Cusi wing's endorsement of Marcos.
