The Department of Agriculture (DA) declared a bird-flu outbreak after it reported increasing number of avian flu cases mostly in Central Luzon.
Taal Volcano has calmed down a bit, but the Philippine Institute of Volcanology (Phivolcs) is only inclined to lower its alert status to level 2 if it no longer erupts in the next two weeks.
