A six-year-old boy was found dead in Estero de Arlegui in San Miguel, Manila on Tuesday, March 29, six days after he fell into the creek.
Police Lt. Adonis Aguila, chief of Manila Police District (MPD) homicide section, said one Mark David Manalo, a river warrior, saw the body of the child floating in the creek at around 7:15 a.m.
Police learned that the boy was answering the call of nature when he fell into the creek on Wednesday, March 23.
Prior to the incident, the boy was seen playing in front of Centro Escolar University at Mendiola, the police report said.
Police are still investigating the incident.
