Stephen Loman of Team Lakay scored a unanimous decision win over Japanese opponent Shoko Sato in their bantamweight clash in ONE: X, ONE Championship's 10th-year anniversary event, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium Saturday, March 26.

Loman, the No. 3 bantamweight fighter, connected significant body blows to overwhelm Sato and take his second promotional win.

Loman used powerful combinations in the first round but Sato levelled the Team Lakay's striking with his own.

After testing the waters in the second frame, Loman finally scored a huge takedown with two minutes left.

Wanting to see more action, referee Olivier Coste intervened as Loman mixed up his striking with powerful high and low kicks.

The Igorot warrior repeated the same tactic in the third, taking down Sato anew midway the round and dominating the Japanese with a ground and pound action.

Sato looked to break free as he threw fists and elbows from bottom position.

Coste stopped the ground exchange anew with 20 seconds left as Sato charged with a flying knee and landed a couple of strikes in the last-second.

Loman rolled on to his 10th straight victory and improved to a 15-2 record while Sato fell to a 32-15 slate.
