Quezon City mayoral candidate Mike Defensor and vice mayoral candidate Winnie Castelo are leading the monthly survey, according to The Issues and Advocacy Center.
In a statement, the camp of Defensor said that the survey conducted from March 7 to March 13 showed Defensor leading with 52 percent voter preference over incumbent Mayor Joy Belmonte who has a voter preference of 37 percent.
Meanwhile, the preference rating of Defensor’s running mate Winnie Castelo increased to 55 percent, leading to a 25-point lead over Belmonte’s running mate, incumbent Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, who has a 30 percent preference rating.
Defensor and Castelo thanked the residents of Quezon City for their continued support and urged them to support the whole Malayang Quezon City coalition for a “cohesive city leadership”.
Defensor and Castelo are running under the Malayang Quezon City coalition.
