The 55 BJMP JOR consisted of eight Jail Superintendents, 13 Jail Chief Inspectors, one Jail Senior Inspector and 33 Jail Inspectors.

In his message, Iral cited the newly promoted jail officers for their “well-deserved promotion’’ as he recognized their hard work and dedication amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Iral also emphasized the value of their hardwork and dedication that led the agency to many successes, particularly in its fight against Covid-19 and in securing the PDLs.

“Nitong pandemya, napatunayan namin ang kaya ninyong gawin at isakripisyo para sa tawag ng serbisyo. Kaya naman sa aming bahagi, gusto naming pabilisin ang pagproseso ng inyong promosyon sapagkat kayong lahat ay karapat-dapat para rito (In this pandemic we have proven your capability and sacrifices in the call of duty. That is why on our part, we want to expedite the process of your promotion because all of you deserve it),’’ Iral said.

The BJMP chief urged the newly promoted personnel to be “good examples to their colleagues and to continue being passionate in their respective designations.’’

He also exhorted them “to foster a workplace where every member of the BJMP is challenged to do their best in everything.’’

“Let us build our people up, enable them to make things happen, support their initiatives, and be good models for them. An empowered human resource is what will bring our organization to becoming our vision,” Iral emphasized.
