The much-awaited comeback date of K-pop group Big Bang has been announced.
Big Bang will be returning to the music scene in four years as a four-member group with the release of a new song.

On March 20, YG Entertainment, the group’s agency, revealed Big Bang’s poster indicating that the song will be released on April 5. Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Taeyang also posted the same photo on their Instagram accounts.
Last Feb. 7, the agency announced that "Big Bang will release a new song this spring. They have finished recording the new song and they are currently preparing to shoot a music video.”
YG Entertainment said on March 16 that Big Bang recently finished shooting their music video for their new song.
This will be their first new song in four years since releasing “Flower Road” in March 2018, which heralded their group’s hiatus as the members enlisted in the Korean military one by one.
Together with Big Bang’s comeback also came the announcement that T.O.P ended his contract with YG Entertainment and he will expand his personal activities as an artist and entrepreneur.
T.O.P recently opened up about his life, his past controversy, past suicide attempt and his personal plans in an interview with a Hong Kong-based magazine.
“Actually, I was going to seriously stop making music and stop being a musician. But during the bad times, the rough times, my motivation to keep going was the music. I wrote more than 100 songs over the past five years. It’s been my motivation, like wanting to fill up a bookshelf with my work. It’s been my passion. I realized how precious it is to pay back what I’ve received. I feel that I’m reborn,” T.O.P told Prestige magazine.
