NAPC’s Gender and Development (GAD) unit held the training on March 11 to March 14 in Cebu City, the Commission announced on Saturday, March 19.

Aside from discussing the basic concept of gender and sexuality, NAPC likewise highlighted the significance of addressing and ending gender inequalities in attaining development in the country.

“[The training] focused on the discussion of the gender roles and social institutions that shape gender roles. [We also focused on] gender and development and gender mainstreaming,” said the Commission.

An interactive activity workshop about the vision of a gender-fair society was also conducted during the event, said NAPC.
