Anji Salvacion has officially released the song she composed inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” house last December as part of a fundraising campaign for the victims of Typhoon Odette and as an ode to her hometown titled “Dalampasigan.”
“Dalampasigan,” which signifies the hopes of a little girl, which are to be reunited with a loved one and feel the solace of family, delivers the nostalgic vibe of spending summer at the beach and healing with beautiful memories of home and family. It also represents Anji’s journey and the comfort of childhood moments with her dad.
‘The Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao’ performed the song, which was produced by Star Pop head Rox Santos, at the livestreamed benefit concert “Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-ahon: Andito Tayo para sa Bawat Pamilya” of ABS-CBN Foundation.
One of “PBB Kumunity Season 10” Top 2 celebrity housemates, Anji regularly performs on “ASAP Natin ‘To” as one of the variety show’s ‘New Breed of Singers.’ Soon she will be taking part as co-host of “Bida Star Singer,” ABS-CBN’s virtual reality show in search of the next online singing sensation.
The Star Magic artist and member of The Squad Plus also starred in the 2021 iWantTFC series “Unloving U” and sang its official soundtrack “Keeps On Coming Back.” She had previously lent her voice for the song “Buo” for the series “Marry Me, Marry You” and “Don’t Be Afraid” for “My Sunset Girl.”
