Officials from the Muntinlupa City government inaugurated on March 18 a new senior high school in Barangay Sucat.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi and Rep. Ruffy Biazon and Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac, together with Dr. Dominico Idanan, Muntinlupa schools division superintendent, led in the blessing of the Sucat Senior High School Building A.

The Sucat Senior High School is one of the major projects in education under the Fresnedi administration.
In his State of the City Address last March 1 during Muntinlupa’s 27th cityhood anniversary, Fresnedi said the Sucat Senior High School, located on a 1.6-hectare land, would be inaugurated this month.
“The Sucat Senior High School is dedicated to the people of Muntinlupa City. It embodies the commitment of the City Government of Muntinlupa to expand access, quality, relevant, liberating and complete K to 12 education in Barangay Sucat and nearby communities, provided under Republic Act No. 10843, which established Sucat Senior High School in 2018,” the marker at the new school read.
It added, “This institution shall steadfastly pursue its mission of producing holistically developed graduates prepared for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment and entrepreneurship.”
Biazon congratulated Fresnedi and the city government for the four-story senior high school building.
“This project is a testament to the efficient service of Mayor Jimmy Fresnedi. Through the years under his leadership, we saw and experienced the development of Muntinlupa,” said Biazon in a Facebook post.
The Sucat Senior High School building has nine lecture rooms, two multi-purpose halls, laboratory room, kitchen and restaurant.
